A 60th birthday can be a rather significant time in a person’s life, & as I’m about to reach that milestone you might be considering giving me a gift.  If so I’d like you to consider giving a financial gift to the LifeHouse Railway Kids project rather than a present to me.  

You see, I really do have all I need.  I have clothes to keep me warm in winter, these children do not.  I have a roof over my head to shelter me, these children do not.  I have friends & family to comfort & encourage me, these children do not.  I eat well, these children do not.  I have a safe environment to live in, these children do not.  I have a secure future, these children do not.  I have Jesus as my Lord, these children do not.  

As you can see I’m a very blessed person as I turn 60, so please, don’t give me a gift, give to the LifeHouse Railway Kids project instead.  That would be the best birthday gift I could receive.
